At 10am on Saturday 12th April keen bakers and unsure bakers entered the Easter Bake-off at Watnall Road Baptist Church. With 2 very willing judges Lindsey and Caitlin who had the arduous task of tasting them all the winners were:

  • Rachel Gregory and runners up Alma Rawson and Sally Wyatt in the large cake category.easter bake off 4
  • Joanne Mizen and family and runner up Alma Rawson in the cupcake category for Adults.
  • Charlotte Milward who won the children’s cupcake category.

Congratulations to all of the winners one of whom said ‘I don’t bake’!
The cakes were sold to on Saturday and Sunday  and approximately £170 was raised for the BMS NightLight project.
