The church is led by a leadership made up of Ministry Team members who work full or part-time for the church and in the community, and also ‘deacons’. This title is found in the Bible to describe those that helped lead early churches – and its literal translation is, ‘one who serves’. We’re here to serve others.

Children & Family Worker – Sally Newsome

Sally has been the Children and Family worker since 2007. ‘I love the role and the opportunity it brings to connect with so many people in the community and church.’  Sally’s heart is to see people of all ages grasp that they are special to God and have a value and purpose in Him. She is passionate about caring for and supporting families. Sally is married to Bob and has 3 daughters. With busy family life Sally has lots of hobbies on the ‘back burner’ – writing and painting are those things she will get around to one day! However she does love reading and saves books through the year to read in the holidays.

Until now I have been involved in administration in the charity sector, and most recently looking after a school’s computer system. I have two young and energetic sons, Jack & Liam. I also love meeting and helping people, so please don’t hesitate to get in touch if you feel I can help with any enquiry.
