Kids @ WRBC
Got kids?
We can't wait to welcome them!
At WRBC we see children as a gift and a privilege.
That’s why we run safe, fun, and age-appropriate groups where every child is valued, cared for, and free to be themselves.
From energetic activities to growing in faith and friendships, our children’s work is designed to help them thrive.

Sunday Groups
Ages 0-4
A fun, caring space on Sunday mornings with play, crafts, stories, songs, and snacks – a place to play, learn, and grow while parents are in the service.
Ages 5-9
Through songs, crafts, games, and stories from the Bible, children explore life, faith, and friendship in a fun and memorable way – growing in confidence, belonging, and discovering Jesus together.
Ages 9-11
A space for older children to grow in their understanding of Jesus – exploring the Bible, discovering faith in creative ways, and building a relationship with God that lasts beyond Sundays.
A Place to Belong and Have Fun
Every week, children are welcomed into a safe, caring space full of activities, creativity, and friendship – where they can play, learn, and grow in faith.
Play and Adventure
From toys and games to crafts and challenges, every session is packed with fun and imagination.
Creative Learning
Children discover stories of faith through songs, drama, building, and hands-on activities.
Safe and Caring
Every child is welcomed, valued, and encouraged in a space where they can be themselves.
Friendships That Grow
A place to laugh, share, and make memories together each week.
Faith
That Lasts
We help children explore who Jesus is and how His love makes a difference in their everyday lives.
Meet Lisa...
Hi, I am Lisa and I am so excited to be the Children and Families Team Leader. I grew up at Watnall Road Baptist Church and was taught by some amazing leaders about the love of God. I am so privileged to be able to now teach the next generation and help them know the love of Jesus in this troubled world.
We have so much fun on a Sunday morning and we also have a variety of clubs that we run from 0-11. I am really keen to work with our community and partner the local schools and clubs in Hucknall. I want children to feel loved, included and enjoy learning about God and excited to come to church.
I am married to Neil and have 2 grown up boys George and Max. We are all avid Nottingham Forest fans. Neil and I love to travel and enjoy socialising and walking with our West Highland White Dog, Angel.
