Community & Mission

About volunteering

Volunteering in the Community & Mission teams at WRBC gives you the chance to make a real difference in people’s lives, both locally and globally. From supporting life-changing work through the BMS Birthday Scheme, to bringing worship and companionship to care home residents, serving in the coffee shop, helping at craft afternoons, supporting families through the Engage Food Project, or sharing friendship over Fellowship Meals, volunteers play a vital role. You’ll help provide practical support, offer encouragement and conversation, and create welcoming, caring spaces where people feel valued, loved, and connected — all while building community and sharing God’s love in action.
