New to Church?

We understand that visiting a church for the first time can feel a bit overwhelming, but we’re here to make your experience as welcoming and comfortable as possible. Whether you’re exploring faith, returning after some time away, or looking for a community to connect with, WRBC is a place where everyone belongs.

Here’s everything you need to know to make your visit enjoyable and uplifting:

Where and When Does the Church Meet?

Our Sunday Service begins at 10:15 AM. To ensure you find parking and get seated comfortably, we recommend arriving about 15 minutes early.

Our services include contemporary worship music, and there are dedicated groups for children from 0 to 18 years old.

We meet at:
Watnall Road, Hucknall, Nottinghamshire, NG15 7LD
How to get here?

What to Expect

  • A Warm Welcome: A member of our Welcome Team will greet you and help with any questions.
  • The Service:
    • Simon, our Lead Minister, or another speaker will give a Bible-based talk that’s engaging and relevant.
    • Our worship team leads us in music featuring drums, guitars, keyboards, and vocalists.
    • The atmosphere is relaxed and family-friendly, especially during the first 20 minutes, when children and youth join us for a time of worship and reflection.
    • After the service, we gather for tea, coffee, and biscuits—a perfect chance to meet new people and chat.
  • Communion: On the first Sunday of each month, we share communion, reflecting on Jesus’ sacrifice with an attitude of thanksgiving.

What Happens to the Kids?

Children and youth join the main service for the first 20 minutes and then move to their age-appropriate groups. These include creative activities like worship, games, interactive teaching, crafts, and more:

  • Minizone (Birth to School Year 1): Parents are welcome to stay with their little ones.
  • Glo (School Years 1-4)
  • Limitless (School Years 5-6)
  • Junction (School Years 7 and up)

For more details about these groups, check out the Children and Youth Ministry section on our website.

Is There a Dress Code?

Not at all! Come as you are and dress however you feel comfortable.

Will I Have to Join In?

No pressure! You’re welcome to observe or participate as much as feels comfortable for you.
