Youth

Our Youth groups have many exciting activities and opportunities for young people to make friends, grow in their faith and serve alongside the adults in the church. In all of them, we want to have fun, while being encouraged, learning about friendship and relationships in an atmosphere where each young person is respected and valued as an individual.

Explore is a youth group for young people from 11 to 18 years old, running every Thursday evening through term time.
We spend our time together hanging out, playing table tennis and pool, catching up and will always play some ridiculous game all together.  We have fun, we are growing as a community in numbers and in relationships and we spend some time each week reflecting on a Christian theme that is accessible whether the young person is a Christian or not.
Explore creates an atmosphere where everyone in the group can be themselves whilst making new friends, building relationships and learning a little of how God is working in their lives in very practical and real ways.

Junction is our Sunday morning youth gathering where we spend time together learning more about God and how he is working in our daily lives. We do this through reflective bible study, open discussions, worship and prayer. We encourage each other in our understanding of the Christian faith whilst recognising we are all on our own journey. We are growing together as a group and experience some of our best relationship building when we are just sharing what‘s been going on in our lives since we last met. We enjoy silly games, biscuits and Lego bible videos and we even get a bit  crafty sometimes.

180 is a group for young Christians in the local area that runs monthly on Sunday evenings.  As well as a chance to hangout and play games with their friends, 180 is an opportunity for young people to delve deeper into the Christian faith through a variety of different ways.
